Sweet 16 Pina Colada Party!

This was a fun party idea for my niece's sweet 16 birthday hosted by her sister (Amber of the butterfly papers ). The party theme was kind of an Orange is the happiest color/ "nectarine" colors and Pina Colada flavors. So much fun to do a cake in such rich summery colors! Orange and Red swirl cake was flavored in Pina Colada, frosting in pineapple with a hint of coconut, topped with 60 Pina Colada cupcakes for the guests!

Star Trek Themed Party complete with the cast and crew of the movie, the Starfleet Emblem and topped it all off with some lavender lemon cake pops (no relation to the movie :)

 Everything was beautifully styled and planned, and the colors and pieces were just gorgeous together! The cake was a French Vanilla cake filled with a blackberry compote and a mascarpone cheese filing, and frosted with a lemon buttercream frosting. The hand pies were blackberry and raspberry crustadas, and were oh so yummy!!
